Felixia Yeap Bunny Playboy the first MALAYSIAN Playboy bunny

Felixia Yeap Bunny Playboy the first MALAYSIAN Playboy bunny
China Press reported that Malaysian model Felixia Yeap (Felixia Yeap Chin Yee) has become a Facebook sensation after she became the first Malaysian Playboy bunny at the Macau Playboy Club at Sands Macao--the only Playboy Club in Asia.

See the above two photos (Source from the Net; just google for 'felixia yeap'), it's hard to imagine such a face that potentially can also launch a thousand ships (Sorry, Helen of Troy!) is now famous as the first Malaysian playboy bunny. No, let's not stress on the word 'first', but on the word 'Malaysian'.

Malaysia, truly boleh!

It's easier to visualise her wearing an innocent, say, Mickey Mouse t-shirt & becomes the first Malaysian Minnie for Disney's House of Mouse.

Hey, I don't mean to criticize her severely! I mean, who would have the heart to do so, what, with such an innocent face.

Yet, this latest news of her being the first Malaysian Playboy bunny is really undoing her achievement so far! Felixia Yeap was one of the top 18 finalists of the last year Miss Universe Malaysia! And in her blog as the contestant, she showed so much potential as she expressed her thought as clear as her crystal eyes.

Felixia Yeap - Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 blog

Pity the crown went to Nadine Ann Thomas.

And instead of tiara, Felixia Yeap chose to don a Playboy bunny ears, instead. Oh, Felixia! Whatever did you think?? That's not the appropriate way to "represent the country you are proud of, Malaysia..."!

Her other accomplishments is for sure eclipsed by her latest fame of being the 1st Malaysian Playboy bunny.

So much for being a finalist in the TV reality show, "I Wanna Be A Model (Season 3)" when she's just 19 years old...

So much for being the 1st runner-up for Miss Chinese World Malaysia 2006...

So much for being listed in the Hall of Fame for Miss Malaysia Tourism 2007...

So much for being a finalist for FHM Girl Next Door 2009...

So much for winning the title as VelocityAngels Model Of The Year 2009...

So much for winning the Panasonic Lumix Star Of The Year 2010 (and thus, being the first official prominent ambassador for the Lumix series in Malaysia)...

Well, in retrospect, one shouldn't be unduly shocked with her being the Playboy bunny as she was once quoted to say:

“One of the biggest reasons I love beaches is because I get to wear really tiny bikinis and run around in public - provided I don’t get in trouble with the law.”

From The Star, "A model who loves lingeries, stilettos and cats".

I guess, the more appropriate question now is whether or not she'll get in trouble with the law once she's back to Malaysia.

After all, this is Malaysia we're talking about.

It’s a nice Saturday evening, with my favorite cookies and coffee. I was browsing through LinkedIn just now and noticed there are currently job offers from from the company in Singapore. This made me a little curious, so I googled a little more and learned that LinkedIn recently launched an office in Singapore .

Marketing Interactive confirmed the news and reported that the office will be located at Marina Boulevard, near Microsoft Singapore. So far, LinkedIn Singapore is looking for folks with experience in advertising, finance or human resource:

    * Marketing Director – APAC
    * Account Director – Marketing Solutions
    * Financial Controller – APAC
    * Financial Planning & Analysis Manager – APAC
    * Human Resources Director – APAC

LinkedIn Singapore’s office will focus on sales. No engineering-based job has been offered yet. It’s pretty much the same for Google and Facebook Singapore where sales is of primary focus.

Besides Singapore, LinkedIn also has strong interest in Japan and China. LinkedIn’s efforts in Asia will be spearheaded by Arvind Rajan who joined the company in 2008. He now leads the company’s initiatives and efforts in markets outside the United States and Europe.

Prior to joining LinkedIn, Rajan co-founded Grassroots Enterprise, an interactive public affairs firm where he developed pioneering online grassroots marketing and influencer programs for Fortune 500 companies. He spent nine years with the firm, where he served as Vice President of Business Development, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer before it was acquired by Edelman Public Relations.

SINGAPORE – Professional networking platform LinkedIn on Tuesday opened its regional headquarters in Singapore,  and plans to use the city-state as a base to expand its Asia-Pacific presence.

“We chose Singapore’s location for a few reasons, one because it is the regional hub for so many multinational companies, many of whom are already our customers on a global basis,” regional managing director Arvind Rajan said at a media briefing.

“Part of the reason that we’re moving out here is to also use Singapore as a hub through which we’ll look at opportunities to expand physically throughout the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region,” he added.

Singapore, with its business-friendly environment and choice geographical location, is popular as a regional base for multinational companies that want to expand into Asia’s booming economies.

“From March of last year to March of this year, we grew 130 percent in APAC so we’re seeing a really rapid growth already and we think that by having a presence here, by expanding our footprint in Asia, we think we’ll see continued sustained growth,” observed Rajan.

The Singapore office will oversee sales, finance, marketing and human resource functions for the region and plans to expand into Japan later this year, he said.

The US-listed firm has more than 100 million members from 200 countries as of March 2011, with over 18 million of them from the region, a company factsheet showed.

LinkedIn is the second online networking site to set up shop in Singapore after Facebook inaugurated its Asian sales office last year.

It listed early this month on the New York Stock Exchange, and is the first major US social-network firm to go public.

Lately it has come into light that this organization is flagging many vegetables from the many different countries of the European Union especially that states of Spain and Germany. It takes the food items and those items then undergo hold and test requirements that check for deadly strains of pathogenic bacteria including E coli. It has recently come into news that it was through imported cucumbers from Spain that a deadly outbreak of E coli. spread in Germany and therefore the many organizations that are involved in the import and export business of food have been lately checking for these pathogenic strains very cautiously to ensure that any deadly epidemic does not start in their own country. This is to make sure that the international business does not lead to problems with in a country. It was on Sunday, May 29, 2011 that AVA  of Singapore announced that all the leafy vegetables that have been imported from the European country including cucumbers and tomatoes will undergo the hold and test to ensure that they are safe food items.
There are some cucumbers however, do come in from other European countries like Netherlands and they have not yet caused any problems of this sort. The many different people from around the country are already buying and the government is being criticized for not holding these tests before the items came into the market. The government is rectifying its mistake and is now taking steps to eliminate the threat from the society.

It was actually Eilen Cha who is professionally an announcer for the radio in Hong Kong and she is a long and close friend of the Tse family. She said that the couple has not divorced and all the news regarding this event is just fabricated. The fans and the people around the country should not pay any attention to that as it is not true. She however said that the couple is going through some hard times and that they have difference of opinion on many issues but every couple around the globe goes through hard times and they resolve their issues. This particular couple is also trying to do the same. The many disputes on the different money matters among the two have increased but they will come out of it as they do they two children and they have to work hard for their relationship for them. The news of the divorce is just rumors and the fans should not listen to the tabloids for deciding the fates of their heros and mentors. Cha has said that the two are trying to work on their issues as the family is the most important thing for the both of them and they do not want their children to grow up in a hostile environment. There are ups and downs for every couple and this one will also get through the hard times and come out on the other side stronger than ever.

Debbie Hong Pooi Mun

It was a twenty three year old Singapore native who went to the dentist as his teeth were not naturally straight. He wanted to have the braces treatment done to ensure that his teeth straightened and he did not know what he asked for. The doctor treated him and when he came out of the dentist's clinic, he was two teeth short. How did this happen? Why would a dentist take out the teeth when the patient did not have any problems in those teeth and that he did not suffer from any problems with those particular teeth. That is the question that is haunting the many people around in Singapore who have been wanting an answer from the doctor in question. This was just a case of mistake and misunderstanding at the National Dental Center in Singapore. The case in question earned the patient who lost two teeth because of the incorrect treatment a free corrective treatment, that is, he will be getting free implants for this problem. The first ever dental surgery incidenty that came into the light was the one that came forth in the year 2007 when a clerk mistakenly put the extracting teeth chit in another patients file and another patient was called into the room for treatment. This led to the wrongful extraction of the teeth. That was the first time that Dr. Debbie Hong Pooi Mun extracted the wrong teeth from the wrong patient. This is the second time that this doctor has made a similar mistake and the patient this time is not ready to let go of her mistake. He has filed a complaint and he plans to get her practicing licence revoked as her mistake has cost him a lot.

Oscar De La Hoya

Oscar De La Hoya, the retired legendary boxer whose moniker the "Golden Boy" symbolized his pristine image, checked himself into a rehabilitation center in California, according to a report.
De La Hoya, 38, responded over the weekend to a TMZ.com story that reported he was in rehab for substance abuse. The written statement didn't directly confirm that De La Hoya was in rehab, but acknowledged that the former boxer was struggling with "issues" and that he had "flaws."
"Throughout my career and my life, I have always met all challenges head-on, and this is no different," the statement read. "I am confident that with the support of my family and friends, I will become a stronger, healthier person."
The Mexican-American fighter, who retired in 2009, had a stellar career. He finished with a 39-6 record, including 30 knockouts.
His last bout came against Manny Pacquiao in 2008, an eighth-round technical knockout defeat.
De La Hoya's alleged rehab stint isn't his first De La Hoya made headlines outside of the ring. In 2007, photos of the boxer were leaked that purported to show De La Hoya, accompanied by a woman who wasn't his wife, dressed in women's clothing.
The following year, the former exotic dancer who leaked the pictures dropped a $25 million lawsuit after experts revealed that the photos were doctored.

Modern Warfare 3 trailer official reveal

We’ve been wondering exactly how Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will fight Battlefield 3 this autumn since seeing the incredible trailers for EA’s game last month.
But we need wait no longer, seeing as Modern Warfare 3 is about to have its very own trailer launched. If you can stay up until 2am or so, you’ll see it tonight.
The news was tweeted by Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, who declared three hours ago: “Modern Warfare 3 world premiere gameplay trailer tonight on NBA Western Conference Finals around 6pm PT (2 am UK).”
When asked by another member of the Twitterverse whether the trailer is “more gameplay or cinematic”, Bowling dryly replied: “Cinematic gameplay.”
So it will definitely show off some of the goodies planned for MW3, which will be of keen interest to shooter fans wondering exactly how the behemoth is going to stand up to the challenge from Battlefield.
If you can’t stay up tonight, then you’ll find out tomorrow morning. Keep an eye on Bowling’s Twitter account for the link to the HD trailer, which should be popping up in around five hours time.

Brad Womack and Emily Maynard

Brad Womack and Emily Maynard, who got engaged during the finale of last season's "The Bachelor," broke up and the Maynard has returned the engagement ring, according to Us Weekly.
The 25-year-old single mom was spotted in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina without the Neil Lane engagement ring that Womack put on her finger during the show's finale. Rumors of a break-up started back in March after the couple admit that they'd had a "bumpy couple months."
Sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple broke up two weeks ago, shortly after Maynard visit Womack in his native Austin, Texas. Sources say the split was initiated by Maynard, who couldn't deal with the long distance nature of the relationship.
"Emily is happy in Charlotte and is not moving to Austin with [her 5-year-old daughter] Ricki," the source told Us Weekly. "She is content."
Another source claims that Womack is not taking the break-up well, adding, "Brad keeps drunk-dialing her... Brad is such a loser."
Womack, 38, proposed to Maynard, a children's hospital event planner on the last episode of the 15th season of the hit ABC dating series, while Chantal O'Brien, a 28-year-old executive assistant from Seattle, Washington, came in second place.
"Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship," the couple said in a statement provided by Warner Bros. Television in March. "We hope that you can respect our privacy as we return to normalcy and begin our off-screen lives together."
Womack told OnTheRedCarpet.com recently that it has been so long since he's seen the woman he chose in the finale, that he's not even sure if there's still a relationship. The website PopSugar.com quoted unnamed sources as saying Womack and Maynard were no longer together in March.
The three-hour finale of "The Bachelor" averaged a 4.5 rating among adults aged 18 to 49 and was seen by 13.8 million people, marking the lowest ratings given to a final episode for the show in almost three years, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Ashley Hebert, a 27-year-old dental student from Maine who placed third on the last season of "The Bachelor," was named the new "Bachelorette."
"Expect anything to happen," Hebert told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith recently. "But even going into it, I had a few insecurities, still."
Herbert will choose from among a group of 25 male contestants on the upcoming seventh season, which premieres on May 23 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

New Zealand Earthquake 2011

A strong earthquake shook New Zealand on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports.

The 6.3-magnitude quake, per the USGS, shook New Zealand's South Island and its largest city of Christchurch at 12:50 p.m. local time.

The New Zealand Herald reported that the quake's epicenter was Lyttelton with a depth of 5 kilometers, though it was felt as far away as Wellington and Dunedin per Twitter reports. It shook the Canterbury region, which has a population of approximately 500,000. Radio New Zealand reports "that some people have been killed."

Radio New Zealand also noted some of the damage from the quake in Christchurch: a church collapsed, a bridge is impassible, the airport has been shut down and the mayor is urging people not to drive due to road damage.

HuffPost reader Laura Campbell submitted these photos of the damage in Christchurch. A local New Zealand media outlet posted this photo of damage to Chirstchurch's historic Christchurch Cathedral.

Videos of the quake are beginning to surface on YouTube. One video (watch below) shows shaking, presumably an aftershock, and fallen rocks among the damage outside Christchurch.

Natalie Portman Pregnant, Engaged to Benjamin Millepied

Natalie Portman is engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and the couple is expecting their first child, her rep confirmed to ABC News.

Portman, 29, and Millepied, 32, met during the production of "Black Swan." Millepied, a principal dancer in New York City Ballet, choreographed the film, which has earned Portman nominations for Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards.

The notoriously private Portman has been linked to Millepied, a classically trained ballet dancer who was born in France, since early this year, when gossip sites began reporting that the pair started quietly dating last fall.

According to the New York Post, Millepied split with his live-in girlfriend, a dancer in the American Ballet Theater, when he began seeing Portman.

The actress had been previously linked to folk singer Devendra Banhart and Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal.

In an interview four years ago for Ynet.news, Portman, who was born in Israel, said she would like to bring up her children in the Jewish faith: "A priority for me is definitely that I'd like to raise my kids Jewish, but the ultimate thing is to have someone who is a good person and who is a partner."

It's unknown whether Millepied is Jewish.

Eating for Two?

Perhaps, tellingly, Portman has been talking about how much she's been eating these days.

"I consume my own weight in hum mus every day," she told Vogue. "I cook a lot, and I even do vegan baking."

"I like pleasure. I like joy. I'd never get to the point where I would starve or injure myself like Nina does," she said, referring to her "Black Swan" character. "I'm the opposite -- when I'm hungry, I eat, and I always make sure I'm eating something delicious."

To play a ballerina in "Black Swan," Portman dropped 20 pounds from her already petite frame, leading director Darren Aronofsky to worry that she'd perhaps gone too far in preparing for the role.

"At a certain point, I looked at [Natalie's] back, and she was so skinny and so cut," Aronofsky told "Access Hollywood." "I was like, 'Natalie, start eating.' I made sure she had a bunch of food in her trailer."

Update: Natalie released a statement to EW saying, "I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience.

Cory Hardrict and Tia Mowry were married at the Biltmore Hotel in Santa Barbara. Over 170 guests were in attendance on the Monte Vista Lawn, including Brittany Daniel and Jaleel White.

Before the reception was over, guests were served a four-tier, Cake Divas wedding cake adorned with roses and Swarovski crystal butterflies.

Rahul Gandhi Girlfriend 2011

How will Rahul Gandhi choose his bride?
The heir to the Congress party throne is 'as close to a dynastic princely ascendancy as exists in a modern democracy.' Will he go the Will way?

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and his Colombian girlfriend found in illegal possession of about $200,000FBI had detained him along with his girlfriend Sep 21, 2001 WHY released by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was the Indian prime minister

Rahul Gandhi will be 41 years old in June 2011. Next to nothing is known about his love life, other than a Spanish girlfriend he once publicly named as Veronique Cartelli.

In marriage, there's "more at stake" for the heir of the Congress party throne than there is for Britain's future king, writes Paul Beckett in a recent article in the Wall Street Journal.

For one, writes Beckett, "[T]he relevancy of the British monarchy has been declining steadily for even longer than the British Empire, so not surprisingly the wedding of the one-after-the-next-king-of-England is heavy on pomp and light on geopolitical significance. Many of us will be dead by the time this fine young couple ascends to their rightful place atop the thrones of the King and Queen of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and British Dominions Beyond the Seas, if there are any left by then."

"The future of Britain does not depend on how good a king William is," he writes.

"Mr. Gandhi has no such luxuries. Soon enough, no doubt, he will be India’s prime minister ... [he] will govern ... almost one fifth of the world’s population. And given the powers vested in the office, he has the potential to be the steward of a new phase in India’s development that will see it fulfill its potential. Or he can succumb to the rampant corruption, cronyism and trough-feeding that afflict so many of his counterparts in the political realm and which drag India down."

Even though Rahul's late father Rajiv married an Italian woman named Sonia, his son "might see that he has the chance of selecting a bride who will boost his own political future in a way that is more reminiscent of the monarchs of old," Beckett writes.

What marital alliance should Rahul Gandhi make? An Islamic bride? A devout Hindu bride? A bride from a neighboring country or a far-fetched foreigner?

Biography for Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi is the son of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Rahul and his younger sister, Priyanka have been in the public eye since the day they were born as at the time their grandmother Indira Gandhi was India's Prime Minister. Even their great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru was a prime minister of India, in fact, the first.

Rahul studied in Modern School, New Delhi for a while and then went to St. Stephen's College (Delhi) where he did History Hons. After that he went to Harvard and then to London where he was a financial consultant. He returned to India in 1999 and was seen alongside his mother, Sonia Gandhi during the 1999 Lok Sabha campaign.

Rahul has not been too much in the public eye, but has always retained a certain enigma about him. The Indian public is always interested to learn the latest information about him. He is still not married, but is said to have a Columbian girlfriend. Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka spoke to the media for the first time in January 2004 while touring Amethi, the constituency in Uttar Pradesh that has been represented by their father and is currently represented by their mother. Rahul Gandhi and his sister, Priyanka went to Karachi and watched the first ODI match between India and Pakistan in March 2004 and the public in Pakistan were happy to see them. Their presence in the match proved to be luck for India, it won. The enigma about whether Rahul Gandhi will enter active politics is now over. On March 21, 2004 the Congress party announced that Rahul Gandhi would be the Congress party's candidate for the Lok Sabha seat from Amethi, currently represented by his mother, Sonia, who has shifted her constituency to Rae Barelli.

Music Bank Live Stream K-Chart

K-Chart is the countdown charts of Music Bank. The charts are calculated by combining the Digital Music Charts (60%), Album Sales (10%), Number of times broadcast on TV/Radio (20%), and Viewers Choice Charts (10%)[1]. The Top 50 songs of the week are featured on the show, where the Top 21-50 songs are shown via marquee and the Top 20-3 songs are featured by the hosts. The hosts then showcase the Top Two songs and announce who will be the winner of the week. The Number 1 song on the chart is the winner of that week’s chart and receives an award.

During the last week of June, the Music Bank First Half 1st Place award is awarded to the most popular song of the first half of the year. During the last week of December, the Music Bank 1st Place award (or Music Bank MVP in 2008) is awarded to the most popular song of the entire year.

Prior to the combined K-Charts, category-based charts were used. From September to December 2007, every week a different category (Digital Music Charts, Karaoke Charts, Viewers Choice Charts, Album Sales Charts) was featured. Technically, each category would only be featured once a month. It was similar to K-Chart except the results each week could only be based on a specific chart, and not all the charts combined. From January 2008 to April 2009, two charts were used. Every week, the Digital Music Charts and Album Sales Charts were used, and at the end of the month were the combined charts (Album Sales Charts (20%) + Digital Music Charts (50%) + Viewers Choice Charts (30%)). In May 2009, this was abandoned for the combined charts featured every week.

One Tree Hill Season 9 'One Tree Hill's' Stephen Colletti on Season 9

At The CW's Upfront presentation on May 19, the network will announce their schedule for the 2011-2012 season, and "One Tree Hill" fans will finally learn whether or not their beloved characters will come back for an incredible ninth season on the air. Fans and cast alike have been actively campaigning to extend the series for at least one more year, and new series regular Stephen Colletti is no exception.

Though Colletti first joined the show in Season 4 (remember Chase as a Clean Teen?) he's only recently been added to the title credits as a main cast member. He's got his fingers crossed that Season 9 will get picked up -- he's already contracted to return -- so that Chase can get a chance to be more integrated with the rest of the characters.

But what of the critics who say that the series has run its course?

"I think that with the mastermind that is [creator] Mark Schwahn, there's always story left in there," Colletti tells Zap2it. "Personally I was really excited about the opportunity to come back because I just became a regular recently. In the last couple of seasons my story has really started to pick up and have more legs to it, where Chase actually gets out from behind the bar a bit more. He isn't just the gopher that pops up from time to time, says hello, and then burrows back down. I'd be excited about it."

More importantly, Colletti says, he thinks that after devoting the better part of a decade to the series, the fans, cast, and writers deserve a farewell season -- in other words, a season that is announced as a final bow, as "Smallville's" 10th season was this year.

"My prediction would be that Season 9 would actually be it, the end," he says. He's likely right, especially as series vets Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Galeotti have only agreed to one more season in their contracts. "I think this is the kind of show that owes that to the fans, where we should have a farewell season and let it be known that it's the last one. I definitely have one more in me, and I think that everyone else on the show does, too. The fans deserve a great farewell season."

When we recently spoke with creator Mark Schwahn, he suggested that the end of Season 8 has left the cast and crew feeling reinvigorated about the show, and that's no surprise given the most recent episodes, which have had more action and more romance than we've seen for a few months on the series.

Dirk Nowitzki's historic Game 1 leads Mavericks past Thunder

DALLAS — If this is the rusty version of the Dallas Mavericks, the Oklahoma City Thunder could be in for a short stay in the Western Conference finals.

The Mavericks, coming off a nine-day layoff after sweeping the two-time defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers, rode Dirk Nowitzki's 48 points Tuesday to defeat the Thunder 121-112 for their seventh consecutive postseason victory.

Game 2 is here Thursday (ESPN, 9 p.m. ET). The Thunder haven't lost two in a row since April 2.

BOX SCORE: Mavericks 121, Thunder 112

SCHEDULE: Complete matchups, dates and results

The Thunder had no answer for Nowitzki, who shot 12-for-15 from the field and a record 24-for-24 from the free throw line, including a playoff record-tying 13-for-13 in the third quarter. "He's reading situations extremely well," Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said of Nowitzki's sixth 40-point playoff effort.

Thunder power forwards Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison picked up their fourth fouls early in the third quarter trying to contain the 7-footer. Oklahoma City was forced to use 6-9 Kevin Durant and Thabo Sefolosha, a 6-5 shooting guard who also picked up three of his four fouls guarding Nowitzki.

Although noted for his long-range shooting, Nowitzki didn't take a three-point shot. He made the extra dribble to get a higher-percentage shot or the extra pass to get a teammate an open look as Dallas shot 53.4% from the field.

"I was really looking to shoot early and was able to get my rhythm after the first couple of shots," Nowitzki said. "I kept attacking and my teammates kept feeding me and feeding me and I was able to take advantage over some smaller players."

The Thunder — fresh off a seven-game series against Memphis that included a total of four overtimes — led by nine early in the second quarter, then went 6:28 between baskets. They missed 10 shots during that drought and were down by 11 when it ended. They eventually trailed by 16 before clawing within five points with 3:42 left, and six with 48.5 seconds to play.

Modern Warfare 3 release date and Prices

After much speculation and fanfare Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 has been officially announced and we now know November 8th will be its official cross platform release date. Retailers such as Amazon have started accepting pre-orders already and have even fired out emails to consumers who have purchased or shown interest in the franchise before.

It read “Modern Warfare is back. On November 8, the best-selling first-person action series of all-time returns with the epic sequel to the multiple Game of the Year award winner Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.” The Amazon site lists the PS3 and Xbox 360 version at £42.91 with free delivery, PC gamers can pre-order the game for just £34.91.

Modern Warfare 3 sees the return of Infinity Ward as developers, a fact that many gamers will be happy with, especially those who suffered glitches with Black Ops when it first released last November. The game follows a similar theme to the second game providing in action in England, America, Germany , Russia and France with some rumours even pointing towards missions in the Middle East.

The game will launch three days before the fabled black Friday, a day when more merchandise is sold online than any other day of the year. This is smart thinking from Activision who will undoubtedly cash in on the silly season that is Christmas.

Will you be pre-ordering Modern Warfare 3, if so which platform will you opt for?

Kyrie Irving, Projected to The Timberwolves In Most NBA Mock Drafts

Kyrie Irving, Projected to The Timberwolves In Most NBA Mock Drafts, Doesn't Impress ESPN's Fran Fraschilla

Kyrie Irving is projected as the top pick -- currently in possession of the Minnesota Timberwolves -- according to most NBA mock drafts, but ESPN's Fran Fraschilla warns that Wolves fans probably shouldn't set their sights too high.

The article is for ESPN Insider subscribers only, but essentially Fraschilla says that after watching Irving since high school and breaking him down using Synergy Sports technology, NBA fans should temper their expectations for the 6-foot-2 freshman that averaged 17.5 points and 4.3 assists as a freshman for the Duke Blue Devils last season.

The bottom line for me is that Irving is a high-lottery selection to his left hand and a late-first-rounder to his right. But he's young and possesses great intangibles to go along with his talent. I don't see him as an elite NBA point guard in the Paul or Williams mode, but so what? The way this draft shapes up, if Irving matches the production of a Stephen Curry or Mike Conley, I'd be ecstatic.

Ultimately this speaks more to the quality of the 2011 NBA Draft class, but if the lottery goes as planned and the Wolves end up with the first pick, drafting the next Mike Conley probably isn't going to make the fan base anything close to ecstatic.

Coming back later in the program, Stevie Nicks took time to perform a Fleetwood Mac classic that made everyone’s heart melt. Singing Landslide, the entertainer had everyone in a nostalgic moment that was delightfully special to those who loved the song.

The elimination show on Tuesday night was all about finding out the final three who will move on for the Dancing with the Stars final next Monday night. End of the World: May 21st, 2011 Billboards predict end of the world

EUGENE, Ore. - Billboards are popping up all over the country predicting the end of the world on May 21st.

The signs say Judgment Day is May 21, 2011.

Eighty-nine-year old Harold Camping is the man behind the prediction. He said after years of studying the bible, he believes God will destroy the earth starting May 21st.

"There's going to be a big earthquake that will make the one in Japan seem like a Sunday school picnic," said Camping.

Camping is the founder of Family Radio in Oakland, Calif. The programs are heard in 48 languages around the world. Family Radio is spearheading a multi-million dollar campaign letting people know about the end of the world.

The organization planted billboards with their message around U.S., including in Oregon. Camping once predicted the end back in 1994, but when it didn't come true - he claimed there was an error in his calculations.

Pastor Gary Clark of Eugene Christian Fellowship said no one knows when the world will end and quoted Matthew 24:36 as his source for this information.

"Nobody has the authority to set those dates except the Father and He's not talking," said Clark.

"The emphasis is not to try and predict the day but live in such a way that if it's your number you're ready for the new world," said Clark.

Clark said rather than getting people ready for the end the billboards and the end of the world prediction only make it harder for some to believe.

"Things like this only add to the difficulty of trying to create an opportunity for a hearing and audience of people who don’t believe in Christianity," said Clark.

Camping said May 21st is just the beginning of the end. He said the earth and universe will be completely destroyed five months later on October 21.

2011 NBA Mock Draft Tab's First Crack At the First Round

The NBA had the lottery to determine the top of the draft order on Tuesday night, and now we can start pondering which teams will find the diamond in the rough... or waste a roster spot on a complete flop. For every Tony Parker, there are two Eddy Curry's, and this year'd draft will give plenty of players the opportunity to fail. There are eight teams with two picks in the first round, including the Bulls, and many of the elite players opted to...

Chicago Bulls flex their muscle in Game 1

CHICAGO — By now, you probably have prepared yourself for the strong possibility that this playoff series will not always be an artistic triumph, despite Eric Spoelstra’s prediction (or was it his delusion?) that “at some point a basketball game will break out.”

Four quarters in, and we’re still waiting for that to happen for his Miami team. No doubt, there were long and competitive stretches Sunday night in which the Heat looked comfortable with the grunt game that the Chicago Bulls play so well. But that was a mirage.

Whether they are equipped to play this kind of game remains to be seen, but they had better learn quickly that this series will be decided by the coach who can get his team to lock in longer defensively. In this particular instance, that team was Chicago, and for 48 minutes it was a masterpiece of the art.

That was the lesson from Game 1, a 103-82 Chicago blowout, and it was a sight to behold. The Bulls were more precise, more intense, more dedicated to making certain that every last stop was brought to its conclusion, with their four main bigs snatching more rebounds than the entire Miami team.

It didn’t hurt, either, that Derrick Rose played like the MVP and that honorary Jersey guy Luol Deng — a Blair Academy product — outplayed LeBron James by a substantial margin.

Or that every last guy off Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau’s bench was a game-changer.
Or that there was a 45-33 blowout on the glass, and a 31-8 landslide in second-chance points.

Etc., etc.

Some coaches would call it beautiful, and that’s their right. But when you lose, you think otherwise, and even Chris Bosh had to admit, “We took a beating tonight.”

So while it doesn’t change our opinion that the Heaters are the better group here, let’s just say that the Bulls now have their full attention.

This is worth noting because after it was over, one of the first things out of Thibodeau’s mouth was, “There are things we have to clean up defensively.” Nothing is left to chance with this guy, and every mistake elicits coaching castigation.

Think of it this way: Chicago scored its first three times out of the gate in the second half, and even though Bosh had just blown by Joakim Noah for a lefty score, the Bulls had their largest lead (55-50) of the game.

But Dwyane Wade then found a seam for a score, and James set up a Bosh jam off a side screen/roll that was too quick for the help (Boozer) to stop this from happening.

They hadn’t even played three minutes in the second half, but what did Thibodeau do? He called timeout, probably to reinforce the no-layup rule, as the Bulls had now yielded three straight layups.

“We were spread out,” he explained later. “As ball goes away, we have to handle the weak side better. And our ball pressure wasn’t where we wanted it to be.”

What happened from there was extraordinary. The Heat took their final lead at 58-57 on James’ 20-foot turnaround fadeaway with Deng in his mug, but that’s where Thibodeau’s defense shut Miami’s water off.

INJURY REPORT
New York: Jorge Posada, stiff back and ego(Day-to-day);Phil Hughes, dead arm (Placed on the 15 day DL on April fifteenth); Eric Chavez, Bruised bone in left foot(Placed on the 15 day DL May 5th); Rafael Soriano, elbow inflammation (Day-to-day); Pedro Feliciano, strained lat muscle(Placed on the 15 day DL before the season began);
Boston:Marco Scutaro, strained left oblique (Placed on the 15 day DL May 8th); Dan Wheeler, strained calf (Placed on the 15 day DL May 5th); Bobby Jenks, bicep soreness (Placed on 15 day DL May 5th, retroactive to May 2nd)

GAME NOTES

What a difference three days can make. After being swept away in Toronto last Wednesday, the Sox look to do the same to the Yankees tonight. Amidst the chaos of Jorge Posada’s refusal to play and the incredible tear Adrian Gonzalez has been on, the Sox can finally even their record to .500 by securing a victory against Freddy Garcia and the Yankees. If Jon Lester can mimic the mastery displayed by Josh Beckett and Clay Buchholz the past two nights, the offense won’t have to do much. Lester comes in with a 2.96 ERA after a tough start in Toronto where he struggled to throw strikes consistently. He walked a career high five batters and gave up five runs in only five innings and a third of work. One person he won’t have to deal with tonight is Jorge Posada, who is absent from the lineup for a second consecutive night after being dropped to ninth in the order and asking to be removed. There were multiple explanations for his absence. There were claims from his family that he had a stiff back but the Yankee’s brass hinted otherwise. Andruw Jones starts in his place as the DH, batting seventh. Freddy Garcia will try his hand at taming the Sox lineup. Another insurance pickup for Brain Cashman, Garcia has been strong this year. He’s posted a 2.61 ERA and a 2-2 record in five starts. Completing the sweep tonight will give the Red Sox something they haven’t had for seven years: a three game sweep at Yankee stadium. Even more importantly, it will give them something they haven’t had for forty games: a five hundred record.

Ronnie James Dio First death Anniversary

It’s exactly a year ago since the passing of a metal legend. Ronnie James Dio passed away with his wife and manager Wendy at his side on May 16 2010, but thankfully not before many had the chance to say their last goodbye’s – “Ronnie knew how much he was loved by everybody” said Wendy

Judging by the flood of tributes that poured in, she was right. Everyone who is anyone in the world of Rock n’ Roll stated how much they had been influenced by the great man and those who had the privilege to have met him or played with him had nothing but kind words

Tony Iommi who played with Dio in Black Sabbath during, arguably, the bands greatest years and their re-incarnation Heaven & Hell said:

“Ronnie was one of the nicest people you could ever meet; we had some fantastic times together. Ronnie loved what he did, making music and performing on stage. His music will live on forever”

Lars Ulrich of Metallica posted a moving open letter on the web, stating that the man who invented “the horns” was responsible for him getting on the stage:

“Ronnie, your voice impacted and empowered me, your music inspired and influenced me, and your kindness touched and moved me. Thank you.”

Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour called Dio “one of the strongest, purist and consistent singers of all time. Ronnie sang like he lived — all out, from the heart, with so much honesty and joy. He was a great man with a smile and a handshake for fans and peers alike. He spoke his mind and stood his ground for decades. I will miss him dearly.”

And still they kept coming – tributes of thanks and joy mixed with sadness that RJD would no longer stalk the stage; his huge voice booming out huge songs despite his diminutive stature.

Gene Simmons of Kiss, Slayer’s Kerry King, Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, Alice Cooper, The Deftones, Killswitch Engage, Michael Anthony of Van Halen and Chickenfoot, Ozzy Osbourne, whom he replaced in Sabbath…the list was endless. They all had something to say about Ronnie, his music, his contribution, his warmth and his kindness.

As news broke of his death, bands all over the world played covers of his songs at their shows in honour of their hero – Pearl Jam kicked into “Heaven and Hell” at their gig when the news broke – Kiss’s Paul Stanley led a chant in his honour in front of a stadium full of fans in Switzerland.

Facebook was inundated – 45,000 fans from all over the world left messages in a single day.

The Tree of Life Cannes 2011 review

Prehistoric and cosmic visions aside, Terrence Malick's film is an unashamedly epic reflection on love and loss Terrence Malick's mad and magnificent film descends slowly, like some sort of prototypical spaceship: it's a cosmic-interior epic of vainglorious proportions, a rebuke to realism, a disavowal of irony and comedy, a meditation on memory, and a gasp of horror and awe at the mysterious inevitability of loving, and losing those we love.

Sean Penn has a central but minor role as Jack, a careworn 21st-century corporate executive who is now disenchanted with his life. At the moment of crisis, he is carried back to an ecstatically remembered 1950s boyhood in smalltown America. He remembers his relationship with his demanding, disciplinarian father, played by Brad Pitt, and the brother who died at the age of 19: the news is brought to his distraught mother (Jessica Chastain) via an official communication – the telegraph delivery boy thrusts it into her hands and walks quickly away – so he appears to have died on military service.

Jack realises that time, far from healing the wounds of loss, only makes them more painful. Along with the dream-lit tableaux from his childhood, he is vouchsafed extraordinary visions of geological time and the unknowable reaches of the universe, in comparison with which his loss is meaningless. And yet meaning has to be found if the pain is not to be unendurable. In a sense, the purpose of these gigantic visions is to anaesthetise the pain of being alive and not understanding.

Brad Pitt dominates the bulk of the film as Mr O'Brien, who appears on the face of it to be a God-fearing family man with a button-down shirt and crewcut, brusquely but sincerely in harmony with his gentle, beautiful and profoundly religious wife. Chastain has a voiceover at the very beginning asking her sons to prefer God's grace to the beauties of nature, as the truer path. But O'Brien is far more complex than first appears: he is angry with his boys; he respects the severity of traditional churchgoing belief, but aspires to riches and worldliness, taking out patents in the aeronautics industry and dissipating the family's means in the process.

'Survivor' Winner 'Boston' Rob Mariano Wins 'Survivor

For "Boston" Rob Mariano, fourth time's a charm.

The longtime "Survivor" veteran took home the crown of the series' 22nd season on Sunday, beating out 17 other contestants in "Survivor: Redemption Island." He won a resounding victory, finishing on top of an 8-0-1 vote against co-finalists Phillip Sheppard and Natalie Tenerelli.

Filmed in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the show's main attraction was the returns of rivals Mariano and Russell Hantz, who was also a previously well-known player. Things didn't go as smoothly for Hantz, as he was the third player voted out. Mariano, once the leader of the Villains tribe in "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains," made friends quickly and catapulted himself to the top.

As the winner, Mariano takes home $1 million in prize money and, finally, the ultimate prize in his illustrious reality show career, which also includes multiple appearances (with his wife Amber) on CBS' "The Amazing Race."

"You don't know for sure until the votes are read, but I had a pretty good feeling," Mariano told the Associated Press. "I played my heart out. I love this game, but you've got to get lucky along the way, too. I know what it takes. It's really, really difficult. I'm really, really happy things happened the way they did this time."

Joakim Noah And The Bulls Dominate LeBron James Heat In Game One

The Chicago Bulls, lead by Joakim Noah’s rebounds, dominated the Miami Heat in game 1 tonight at the United Center in Chicago 103-82 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Bulls, lead by Derrick Rose (28 points) and Luol Deng (21 points and 7 rebounds) points wise and Joakim Noah in rebounds (14 and 9 points), sailed past the Miami Heat in game one. Carlos Boozer had 9 rebounds and 14 points for the evening as well for the Bulls.

As for the Heat, Chris Bosh lead their defeat, with 30 points for the evening and 9 rebounds. Dwyane Wade added 18 points and 3 rebounds and LeBron James added 15 points and 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Chicago, who trailed at the end of the first quarter 23-20, had a fight as well going into halftime with the score tying at 48 each. However, in the third Chicago clearly started to pull away, almost doubling the Heat 24-15 in the third and 31-19 in the fourth quarter. Maybe they were out to prove something to the press who hyped Miami as the clear favorites to win this series? Or maybe the voodoo dolls that Clevelanders made for LeBron are finally starting to work?

Kevin Durant and LeBron James Career Parallels at Age 22 and Season Four

It was almost too easy to forget while watching him drop 39 points and lead his Oklahoma City Thunder to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since the franchise moved from Seattle:

Kevin Durant is only 22-years old. And this is only his fourth season in the league.

Durant already has two scoring titles and All-NBA first team selections to his name just a year removed from being able to legally buy a beer for himself. But when thinking about who else made such a splash at the same age and same season in the league, one has to shift his eyes away from the Oklahoma City superstar to South Beach.

The comparisons are with one LeBron James, and the stage is in Cleveland back in 2007.

When James was 22 and in Year Four, he took the Cleveland Cavaliers to their first and only trip to the NBA Finals. That run included one of LeBron's signature moments in the Eastern Conference Finals against Detroit, where "The King" scored the Cavs' final 25 points, 29 of their last 30, all 18 in the two overtime sessions combined and 48 overall to help Cleveland break Detroit's back and take a 3-2 series lead.

Many NBA fans will stop the comparisons right there. To compare the two is asinine, they will say. Sure, Durant has had signature moments in these playoffs, such as scoring Oklahoma City's last nine points in the closeout game against Denver and 41 overall. Or his Game 7 performance against Memphis where he made superstar plays on both ends of the floor en route to 39 points and nine rebounds on 13-of-25 shooting.

But neither moment stacks up to that moment. The moment in Game 5 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit on that May evening in 2007. And Durant is still a ways away from taking his Thunder to the Finals like LeBron did, especially with a white-hot Dallas team serving as the barrier between Oklahoma City and the NBA's biggest stage.

However, comparing the climate of the league back then to the one it is in now is like comparing apples and oranges. The 2007 Cavs could arguably be the worst team in NBA history to make the Finals, as you would be hard-pressed to name a single Cavalier on that particular squad outside of LeBron. But those Cavs also had what has to be—by far—the easiest road to the NBA Finals.

Cleveland took out two .500 teams in Washington and New Jersey in the first two rounds, respectively. Neither the Wizards or Nets would have even come close to qualifying for the playoffs in the Western Conference, either this year or in several subsequent years. The 53-win Detroit team that LeBron helped take out in the Eastern Conference Finals had a worse record than Durant's 55-win Thunder this year and would have been a first round matchup for OKC had they been in the West.

That has to negate some of the argument that Durant has a better team around him right now. No Cavalier other than LeBron had a triple-double during his career in Cleveland, let alone in the playoffs like Russell Westbrook did in Game 7 against Memphis. But the Thunder are playing far superior competition, and Durant is still the headliner on one of the league's young and exciting team. Even the eighth-seeded Grizzlies were a better team than any team the Cavs beat in '07 because of the way they played in these playoffs.

Amanda Knox case resurfaces as key hearing nears

It was the first house she looked at upon arriving in the small town in central Italy that would be her home for a semester abroad.

But Amanda Knox immediately knew it was the one for her.

The University of Washington student had been in Perugia for just a few hours on a hot summer day in 2007 with her younger sister, Deanna, who saw a poster that included the word "appartamento."

They followed the girl who had posted the ad to a charming, four-bedroom villa near the University for Foreigners of Perugia overlooking a small valley where figs grew.

The sisters chatted for hours in the kitchen with the two friendly Italian girls who lived there and made plans with them to tour the town the next day.

To the wanderlust-driven young American, who had been hitting the books hard and working multiple jobs since high school so she could study abroad, it was a dream come true.

"She didn't need to see any other place, she didn't need to see any other listings, she was set," says her sister.

British exchange student Meredith Kercher moved into the house shortly after Knox settled in. The two foreigners became fast friends, Knox's friends and family say, as they explored Perugia together.

None of them had any way of knowing that just weeks later, the home would be the scene of a grisly stabbing that would leave Kercher dead and Knox branded her cold-blooded killer.

Prosecutors in Perugia said Knox directed then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and another man infatuated with her, Rudy Guede, to hold Kercher down as Knox played with a knife before slashing Kercher's throat.

Knox and Sollecito were convicted in 2009. Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison and Sollecito is serving a 25-year sentence. Guede, a drifter originally from the Ivory Coast, was tried separately and is serving a 16-year sentence.

Doubts over the forensic evidence used to convict Knox, 23, and Sollecito continue to linger. Knox has appealed her conviction and is awaiting the results of retesting of two controversial pieces of forensic evidence presented at her trial.

The first is a knife found in Sollecito's apartment with Knox's DNA on the handle and what prosecutors said was Kercher's DNA in a tiny groove on the blade. Forensic experts are also testing a tiny metal clasp from Kercher's bra that was cut from her body after her murder. Forensic scientists in the investigatory phase determined that Sollecito's DNA is present on the metal clasp.
